This first section of the course ensures all students understand how to create the different types of Luminosity Masks manually. Whilst being able to manually create masks isn’t a requirement for the course, I find it improves peoples learning.

If you feel confident you already know how to create the Luminosity Mask, you can skip the section. But before deciding, please take a couple of minutes to watch this introductory lesson. It will explain what’s covered in the other lessons of the section allowing you to make an informed decision.
